Media School is in Astana now!

Media School at the International Center of Journalism MediaNet opens in Astana with the support of the
Representative Office of the Foundation named after Konrad Adenauer in Kazakhstan and KAZGUU University.
Attention!
To become a member of the first free stream of Media School in Astana, you must pass a competition.
For those who wish to study in Media School, should write a motivation letter “Why I want to study in Media
School?” and publish it with the hashtag #mediaschoolMN on your social network page from March 14 till 30
(included).
Winners will be announced on 3rd April.
Requirements for participants:
– A desire to work in the field of media,
– Age over 16 years,
– An opportunity to attend classes in the evening,
– An open access to the page in the social network where the motivation letter is posted.
Text requirements:
– Text of the motivational letter should not exceed 3 thousand symbols,
– Text should be unique and should not contain plagiarism.
Media School is the most practical training for a journalist profession of for 3 months with the subsequent internship
graduates in existing media. Professors of Media School are professional practitioners working in all types of media.
Training takes place in Kazakh and Russian languages.
Media School exists since 2004 and is based in Almaty. For 13 years, more than 900 people have graduated from
Media School. Many graduates of Media School work in professions including editors, presenters, and producers.
Official opening of the Media School in Astana will be held in April. The exact date will be announced later to all
the winners of the competition.
