TechCamp Kazakhstan 2023
TechCamps in different countries of the world bring together participants and in various fields to jointly create innovative technological solutions to current problems.
On April 14-16, 2023 in Astana the U.S. Mission to Kazakhstan, the Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs (ECA) at the U.S. Department of State, and local partner MediaNet International Center for Journalism hosted TechCamp Kazakhstan to create a sustainable network of representatives of the private sector, civil society, media, and influencers to counter the spread of disinformation in the region.
During the 3-day regional seminar, 50 representatives of media, educational institutions and civil society from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan were trained in fact-checking tools, AI services, mobilography, media literacy, cybersecurity, SMM, and crowdfunding.More information:
